(WFRV) – Gas prices are on the rise throughout the country and Wisconsin is no exception as prices for regular gas are up on average nearly 60 cents from a year ago.
According to the AAA website, regular gas in Wisconsin is up on average by 59 cents across the entire state. Mid-grade gas, Premium gas, and diesel are all up as well, with Mid-grade gas up an average of 63 cents, Premium gas up an average of 70 cents, and diesel up an average of one dollar and 42 cents from a year ago.

Despite being up an average of 59 cents from a year ago throughout the State, Wisconsin is still well below the national average for the price of regular gas.
As of now, AAA is reporting today’s national average across the United States as $4.01. In Wisconsin, the average regular gas price is $3.61, a full 40-cent difference.
