The Latest from Storm Team 5…
A mix of freezing rain, sleet and some snow will arrive into the area after midnight tonight and continue into the early morning hours of Thursday. The early morning commute Thursday will likely be slippery especially up north and on elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses.
Make sure to give yourself plenty of time. As freezing rain weighs down branches and power lines, outages are possible. Wintry precipitation will slowly change to rain during the morning and into the afternoon. Our first wave of mositure will end early Thursday evening.
AN ICE STORM WARNING goes into effect for Langlade, Menominee (WI), Outigamie, Shawano, Waupaca and Waushara counties from 1am to 1pm Thursday. This is where we could see 1/4 to 1/2″ of ice.
A WINTER STORM WARNING goes into effect for Marinette, Menominee (MI) and Oconto counties from 3am to 1pm Thursday. This is where we could see some snow, along with sleet and freezing rain.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY goes into effect for all our remaining counties from 3am to 10am Thursday for the potential of slippery travel due to sleet and freezing rain.

For Green Bay the Valley and Lakeshore, up to a tenth to two tenths of an inch of ice is possible., The best chance for up to a half inch of ice resides into central WI.

A line of scattered showers and storms will move into the area late Thursday evening and into the early overnight. We will be watching for storms on a line from Oshkosh to Manitowoc and southward for the best chance to reach strong to severe criteria. Hail, damaging winds and downpours will be the meain threats.

Snow will not be a major concern, but we may see a slushy inch or two along the WI & Upper Michigan border. Total mositure amounts will range from an inch to as much as an inch and a half. There is a minor flooding concern so make sure the sump pumps are working.
Friday looks dry before another system arrives at night into Saturday morning bringing mainly rain with some freezing rain up north. This could deposit another 0.5-1″ of rainfall. As of now, Easter remains dry with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 40s
