GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – With multiple bridges undergoing maintenance checks in Green Bay next week, Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) officials are highlighting some brand new resources to track delays and closures.
Local 5’s Stacy Engebretson spoke with a pair of WisDOT bridge engineers who highlighted the tools, ahead of routine inspections and annual spring maintenance for the following bridges, according to WisDOT:
Green Bay lift bridges

All bridges will be safe for travel; however, the following links are new resources to highlight and help travelers understand limitations:

- A new webpage explaining state lift bridge operations, with an option to sign up for alerts
- A companion webpage that provides broader information on bridge inspections
- US Coast Guard’s Great Lakes District Local Notice to Mariners for information about lift bridge closures in Wisconsin
