RACINE, Wis. (WFRV) – A woman was hospitalized with serious injuries after her vehicle was struck by a train late Wednesday night.
According to the Racine Police Department, officers were dispatched shortly after 10:30 p.m. to the 1200 block of Washington Avenue for a report of a vehicle hit by a train.

Authorities say the vehicle was occupied by a woman who suffered serious injuries in the crash. She was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.
