GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) – One man was injured when he was inside the unit of a Grand Chute storage unit building when a fire broke out on Sunday morning.
According to the Grand Chute Fire Department, crews were called to a large fire at a storage unit building on West Neubert Road around 6 a.m. on April 12. Crews quickly arrived to find smoke and flames coming from a storage unit.
The man, who authorities say was in the storage unit when the fire started, was able to get out but suffered some burns. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is “expected to be sent home after treatment.”

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but is not believed to be suspicious, the release notes.
No damage estimate was provided, but one unit was heavily damaged, and two to three others sustained fire damage.
