WEYAUWEGA, Wis. (WFRV) – A kayaker along the Wolf River was rescued on Sunday evening after capsizing.
According to the Weyauwega Area Fire Department, on April 12 around 6:30 p.m. crews were sent to a report of a kayaker who had capsized along the Wolf River. Authorities say the kayaker was accompanied by another kayaker who was able to keep them above water while calling for help.

Crews who got the scene first used a UTV and a drone to find the victim. It was mentioned that access to the scene was complicated due to a partially flooded roadway.
The victim was sent for further medical evaluation.
