SUAMICO, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials in northeast Wisconsin say three people needed to be rescued from their Suamico home as flood waters threatened their safety.
Clintonville schools closed, will serve as emergency evacuation facilities
According to a release from the Suamico Fire Department, crews responded to a reported residential emergency in the 3700 block of Stream Road, where rising flood waters threated the safety of three people inside their home.
Upon arrival, firefighters found significant flooding occurring at the home, with the basement filled with water and continuing to rise, impacting the first floor of the home.

Rescue operations were quickly initiated as it was clear the conditions were rapidly deteriorating. All three people inside the home were successfully rescued without any injuries.
The Suamico Fire Department is reminding members of the community to remain alert during times of heavy rain and flooding. They add to avoid driving through standing water and to report any emergencies by immediately calling 911.
