WAUSAU, Wis. (WFRV) – Following a recent drug trafficking investigation, a man was arrested for allegedly trafficking meth, fentanyl, and marijuana from the Milwaukee area to the Wausau community.
According to a release from the Wausau Police Department, authorities began investigating Larry L. Campbell in February.
On April 13, officers conducted a traffic stop on Campbell’s vehicle. After a positive alert from a K9, a search of the vehicle reportedly led to the seizure of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and marijuana.

A probation search was then performed at an apartment associated with Campbell. During the search, crack cocaine, cocaine, and more fentanyl were seized.

In total, officers seized the following:
- Approximately 48 grams of fentanyl
- Approximately 105 grams of cocaine
- Approximately 138 grams (over a quarter pound) of methamphetamine
- Approximately 10 grams of THC / THC products

The Wausau Police Department is recommending the following charges for Campbell:
- Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Deliver (> 50 grams)
- Possession of Fentanyl with the Intent to Deliver (10-50 grams)
- Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Deliver (> 40 grams)
- Possession of THC
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Probation Violation
