UPDATE: The Statewide Tornado Drill has been fully canceled for ALL of Wisconsin
WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Wis (WFRV) – Officials in Winnebago County say that the Statewide Tornado Drill on Thursday, April 16, will not occur in the area.
According to a release, the decision was made due to the recent severe weather and further predicted storms.

Officials say the drill, which was scheduled for 1:45 and 6:45 p.m. on April 16, will no longer occur, and that if any sirens in the county sound, it will be a real event, and people must immediately seek shelter.
Brown County officials pushed back the area’s participation by at least one day.
