GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Police say two people are hurt and one person is in custody following an “edged weapon” attack on the east side of Green Bay on Monday morning.
According to a release from the Green Bay Police Department, officers responded at 5:15 a.m. to a home on the 900 block of Edgewood Drive for reports of an attack resulting in serious injuries.

Those first on the scene immediately began rendering aid to two victims, a 23-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, both from Green Bay. Both victims suffered cuts after being attacked with an “edged weapon” and were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The suspect, a 29-year-old Green Bay man, was said to be known to the victims and fled from the scene. He was detained during a traffic stop around 8:35 a.m. and was brought to the Green Bay Police Department for questioning before later being arrested and taken to the Brown County Jail.
At this time, no other information is available, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
