MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – An armed suspect is now in custody following a domestic violence incident in Wisconsin early on Sunday morning.
According to a release from the Madison Police Department, officers responded at 3:05 a.m. to a home on the 600 block of Sand Pearl Lane for reports of a man physically assaulting a woman.

Police say two other adults in the home were able to stop the assault and the suspect, who was armed at the time of the incident, had left the apartment before officers arrived.
The suspect was identified as 40-year-old Reggie D. Golden, and he was later found and arrested in McFarland on the following potential charges:
- Felon in possession of a firearm
- Domestic disorderly conduct
- Domestic battery
- Domestic strangulation
- Second-degree recklessly endangering safety
Golden was booked into the Dane County Jail. No other information is available and an investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
