The Latest from Storm Team 5…
A little taste of summer out there today with temperatures in the 70s and 80s away from Lake Michigan.
Our next round of rain and non severe storms move in after midnight through about 6am. These storms could produce gusty winds that take down some loose branches and along with some isolated downpours, but the severe threat is low. Rain amounts will be pretty meager unless you get into a downpour which may produce localized amounts up to 1″ in rainfall. Lows tonight will be warm in the mid 50s.
A few isolated showers are possible Friday morning through about the early afternoon. The late afternoon and evening looks dry with emerging sunshine. Highs in the mid 60s for most.
Both days this weekend look dry and a touch warm compared to normal. Plan on sunshine giving way to clouds on Saturday with temperatures in the low 60s. Mostly sunny skies return on Sunday and we see a slight warm up into the mid 60s.
Another wave of rain moves in for the afternoon on Monday, lasting into the morning of Tuesday.
