RIPON, Wis. (WFRV) – The Ripon Police Department said a recent traffic stop that resulted in a variety of drug seizures was courtesy of a four-legged officer.
According to a release, a traffic stop by Officer Howell on April 28 around 8:22 p.m. led to K9 Blek’s deployment for an exterior sniff, which resulted in a positive alert for possible drugs.

A search of the vehicle led police to seize about 29 grams of suspected cocaine, 12.9 grams of suspected marijuana, along with $3,500+ in cash.
A passenger was taken into custody on various drug offenses.
