ELDORADO, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials are investigating a fire that broke out at a bowling alley in Fond du Lac County around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, the fire was reported by a driver who noticed a fire on the south side of Generation Lanes at N7676 County Highway C in Eldorado.
Additional callers reported a gas meter to be possibly involved, and deputies responded along with the Eldorado Fire Department, noticing fire from the southern half of the building and the gas meter area.
Additional crews arrived for aid as the fire was extinguished, keeping most of the damage to the south side of the bowling alley. The quick response kept the majority of the inner and outer portions of the building undamaged.

Four people, including a bartender safely evacuated before responder arrivals, with no injuries reported.
Officials are investigating.
