(WFRV) – A multi-county police chase resulted in two Illinois residents getting arrested.
According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, on May 8, around 1:10 p.m., authorities got a tip of a stolen vehicle out of Illinois driving northbound on I-41. The vehicle was reportedly involved in two different chases in Illinois.
Not long after, a deputy saw the vehicle on I-41. Authorities pulled the vehicle over, but it fled after deputies got out of their squad cars.

The chase went into Winnebago County and failed to stop for red lights and sirens. The vehicle eventually went into a field near County Road Z and Clay Road in Winnebago County.
Two people were inside the vehicle, and both were taken into custody.
The driver was identified as a 23-year-old man from Illinois and taken into jail on multiple charges.
The passenger was identified as a 23-year-old woman from Illinois and was also taken into jail on multiple charges.
