HOWARD, Wis. (WFRV) – A Saturday morning house fire in the Village of Howard caused an estimated $150,000 in damage.
Firefighters were dispatched shortly before 8:15 a.m. to the 1100 block of Forest Grove for a reported structure fire.

First-arriving crews reported flames on the exterior rear of the home extending into the living quarters and attached garage.

Officials said all occupants and animals were safely out of the structure when crews arrived. Firefighters initiated an offensive attack and brought the fire under control in about 20 minutes. The blaze was fully extinguished in less than 40 minutes.
Damage to the structure is estimated at $150,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Brown County Fire Investigation Task Force.
