DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – Vintage, unusual, and “just plain cool” cars are what car enthusiasts in De Pere got to see at Sunday’s ‘Celebrate De Pere’ annual classic car show.
The yearly event was held at Voyageur Park from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and allowed car lovers to stroll through a wide variety of vehicles.

The event is also for more than just car lovers, as each year the car show helps to bring multiple non-profit organizations together every year for Memorial Day weekend.
We have the Lion’s Club down here, the West De Pere Boosters down here, and then of course the Desert Veterans of Wisconsin group down here. And really, all the proceeds go to them, those groups. So yea, when you spend your money, it’s going to a good cause.

This is the event’s 35th year, and on Monday, Celebrate De Pere will host a Memorial Day service.
