OCONTO, Wis. (WFRV) – The Oconto Police Department is selling one of its 2021 Ford Explorer squad cars to the general public.
Officials say sealed bids for the vehicle will be accepted until 4 p.m. on June 2. The minimum bid is $10,000. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope containing contact information and the bid amount, and dropped off at the police station.
The vehicle has approximately 105,200 miles and comes equipped with FordPass. According to the department, the tires are about 75% with a new set installed in November 2024. Regular maintenance has been performed, and the vehicle shows normal wear and tear.
