From Storm Team 5…
On top of the smoky skies, we had a few thunderstorms move into the area Friday afternoon that were a bit of a hail producer. Here are two viewers photos, Carolyn from Peshtigo and Kathy from Green Bay.


For tonight, expect clear skies with temperatures falling into the 40s. An AIR QUALITY ALERT remains in effect through 6am. We are awaiting word from the WI DNR if they plan to extend the alert.

For Saturday, sunny skies that will likely appear hazy with wildfire smoke drifting overhead. Looks like it will stay elevated and not mix down to the surface. Highs in the low to middle 70s, lower 60s lakeside.
Sunday will be a few degrees warmer in the upper 70s to around 80 away from Lake Michigan where temperature will top out around 70 degrees. Hazy sunshine will continue once again.
Monday, get ready to crank up the A/C as highs will reach the upper 80s to low 90s with summertime humidity returning as well. Next chance of rain and thunderstorms returns Tuesday afternoon and evening, lasting through early Wednesday AM.
