High pressure has built in to our south giving us a near perfect day yesterday and that near perfection will continue again today! Expect lots of sunshine today and through tomorrow with clear skies through the night.
Low pressure is starting to build in to our northwest, and as this system gets closer to us, it will eventually bring our next rain chance by mid-week. This system will also mix in more Canadian wildfire smoke, meaning by this afternoon and evening, hazy conditions will return and linger into tomorrow.
A strong geomagnetic storm is developing, and will bring a very good chance to see the Northern Lights tonight! That is unless the smokiness creates too much of a haze in the sky to even see anything!
Next strong storm chance is Tuesday.
