ROCKVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) – Officers with the Kiel Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects seen checking for unlocked cars early Sunday morning.
According to a release from the Kiel Police Department, officers received a report at 1:15 a.m. of an apparent attempt to get inside a vehicle.
Since then, officials say they have received several more reports of suspects attempting to get into vehicles.

At this time, the department does not know how many cars have been affected, but it appears the suspects were searching for unlocked cars.
All homeowners are being asked to check their Ring cameras from 1:00 to 3:00 a.m., or later, on Sunday morning in hopes of identifying the possible suspects. Police also say that community members should make sure to lock their cars and not leave any valuables inside the car.
