FITCHBURG, Wis. (WFRV) – A 64-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested for his seventh OWI after police officers found him and a passenger unconscious in a vehicle with the engine running.
Officers discovered the two individuals on June 7 at around 9:00 p.m. and determined that the driver, Elvin Webster of Madison, was impaired.
Police refer potential charge in accidental shooting that left Wisconsin teen hospitalized
During the investigation, it was revealed that Webster had six prior convictions for operating while intoxicated. He was booked into the Dane County Jail on charges of:
- Operating While Intoxicated – 7th Offense
- Failure to Install an Ignition Interlock Device
- Operating While Revoked
