OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Officers in Oshkosh say that a 50-year-old Michigan man was arrested Friday evening after reports of a weapons complaint inside a house.
According to the release, officers with the Oshkosh Police Department responded to the complaint at 4:38 p.m. in the 600 block of Jackson Street after a report came in about a man inside a home with a gun.

An update provided as officers responded stated that the man had shot the gun and was still inside. Officers arrived and found the suspect outside the residence, immediately taking him into custody.
Officers searched the area and found a loaded handgun, and identified the man as a 50-year-old from Michigan who was known by the people in the home.

He was subsequently taken to the Winnebago County Jail on charges of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. An additional charge of narcotics possession was added after a substance was found on him.
Nobody was injured in the incident, and the area was cleared of other threats.
