FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – Taylor Schabusiness, the woman serving a life sentence in prison for the murder and dismemberment of Shad Thyrion in February 2022, is due back in court Monday for a sentencing hearing.
Following an incident at the Taycheedah Correctional Institution in July where Schabuisness hit a prison employee in the head with a metal table tray, she entered a no-contest plea in October to an amended charge of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and was found guilty by the court.
The now 28-year-old is back in court for the sentencing for that disorderly conduct charge. Schabusiness has become a bit notorious for her behavior in court as she attacked her then-attorney at a hearing in February 2023 and was most recently removed from the courtroom during an outburst on April 4.
Local Five will continue to follow this story and provide updates as new details become available.
