(WFRV) – A woman in Fond du Lac County is now in custody after she was pulled over after being seen going 100mph and was arrested for her first OWI offense.
According to a release from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, around 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, a deputy going eastbound on State Highway 23 near Townline Road observed a vehicle speeding well over the posted 55mph speed limit.
Officials say the deputy’s radar initially showed the vehicle traveling in the 90mph range, and after the vehicle continued accelerating, the radar locked on a speed of 100mph. The driver was also seen crossing the centerline multiple times.
