(WFRV) – A Menasha man will spend 20 years in prison and 10 years on extended supervision for an arson incident that led to significant injuries and two dead pets.
Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney announced the sentencing of Mike Perez by Judge Anthony Nehls, as Perez was sentenced to a total of 30 years via a bifurcated sentence.

Perez will spend 15 years behind bars and five years on supervision for the arson, with five years of each for First-Degree Reckless Injury, totaling 20 years in prison with 10 years on supervision.
“The defendant’s actions caused significant injuries and a risk of death to a 16-year-old girl, which required her to escape from a second-story window to save her life, and killed two family pets,” Toney said via a release.
The incident occurred in October 2024.
