(WFRV) – A Green Bay woman is now in custody after evading police twice early Wednesday morning while going 130mph, driving through a farm field, and resisting arrest.
According to a release from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies were notified around 2:20 a.m. of a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in Winnebago County that was last seen exiting I-41 South onto State Highway 26.

Officials say deputies found the vehicle in question near Fremont Road, where the radar clocked the speeding vehicle going 130mph in a 55mph zone. An attempt at a traffic stop was made, which the driver of the speeding vehicle ignored and continued speeding on, creating the start of a pursuit.
Deputies followed the speeding vehicle southbound on State Highway 26, with the vehicle entering the Village of 100mph and passing vehicles on the left. Once through Rosendale, the driver increased speeds back up to 130mph with another deputy successfully deploying tire deflation devices on State Highway 26 near County Highway TC.
The vehicle continued southbound after hitting the tire deflation device, but did eventually come to a stop near State Highway 151. As deputies issued commands to the driver, they took off again, this time turning eastbound onto Frontage Road at the end of Highway 26.
The pursuit continued on, but at a significantly reduced speed as the vehicle lost a tire due to the tire deflation device. At the end of Frontage Road, the vehicle entered a farm access road and continued to elude police by driving through a farm field.
Officials say that as the vehicle started approaching a residential neighborhood, deputies determined a moving roadblock technique was necessary to help protect public safety. One deputy was then able to get the vehicle to lose traction and spin, redirecting it away from a home.
The 13-mile pursuit was eventually ended as while the vehicle attempted to continue to flee, additional units responded to the scene and helped deputies box in the vehicle. Three squad cars were damaged during the successful box-in attempt.

- Felony Flee/Elude
- Second-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety
- Resisting/Obstructing an Officer.
The driver was also said to have received a citation for speeding after going 130mph in a 55mph zone.
