(WFRV) – A fan-favorite fundraiser held by the Wisconsin Humane Society is back by overwhelming demand, and the Local Five morning crew couldn’t help but take their own attempt at it.
According to a post from WHS on social media, they have brought back the Poorly Drawn Pets fundraiser.
It’s a fundraiser where each person in the community can give a $25 donation to the animals at WHS, and in return, members of the WHS staff will draw their pet, with the catch being that the staff is way better at caring for animals than drawing them.

There is a pool of eager staff and volunteers who can’t wait to draw the pets from around the community, and those who make donations could get lucky with one of the more talented drawers, or at least get someone whose attempt gives them a good laugh.
Members of the Local Five morning team, Jade Henschel, Jordan Lamers, and producer Maddie, all took an attempt at drawing their own pets in honor of the return of the popular fundraiser. Here were the results:

Donut and Hazel, drawn by Jade

Ada, drawn by Jordan and his Daughter Ruby

Prince, drawn by Maddie
Officials with WHS say they serve more than 65,000 animals and their families every year, and while they rely on donations to make the work possible, it doesn’t mean they can’t have a little fun while attempting to raise those funds.
