The Latest from Storm Team 5…
After a sunny start to the day, clouds have arrived and while we may see a few flurries in those clouds, we should see some partial clearing in the clouds late. Lows will drop to around zero, with wind chills between -15 and -25 as our wind will pick up overnight.
Models continue to indicate a lake effect band may brush our lakeshore from around southern Kewaunee county down to Sheboygan county in the morning tomorrow. That could bring in a few tenths of an inch of snow, but northing major.
Otherwise expect some areas of partial sun in the morning to be filled by clouds as we head throughout the day. One more cold day to go with highs in the low to mid teens. A few flurries may fly in the afternoon.
The long awaited warm up arrives this weekend, with highs reaching the low to mid 20s on Saturday under mostly sunny skies.
Clouds return Sunday ahead of a weak system that could bring light snow showers overnigth Sunday into early Monday morning. Accumulations will be around an inch or less.
Highs will remain in the mid and upper 20s this week, with our only snow chance being later in the week.
