GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Packers have officially extended head coach Matt LaFleur, according to a Friday afternoon release.

The Packers also extended their front office core of general manager Brian Gutekunst and Executive Vice President/Director of Football Operations Russ Ball.
The announcement came just after 2 p.m., as President Ed Policy expressed excitement over the ‘multi-year’ deals via the release.
“Their steadfast dedication, passion and collaboration have remained constant in our drive to compete at the highest level,” Policy said via the release.
Policy also acknowledged via the announcement, the way the season ended; however, expressing full confidence in the leadership to push for another Lombardi.

“While we are all disappointed with the way this season ended, we remain aligned in purpose and have spent considerable time over the past weeks collaborating on a path forward,” Policy said via the release. “I am exceedingly confident we have the right people to achieve our goal.”
The team did not specify the length of each contract.
