KENOSHA, Wis. (WFRV) — A company that produces and distributes dialysis equipment has announced plans to lay off more than 40 Wisconsin workers as part of a shift in its logistics operations.
According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) letter submitted to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Fresenius USA Manufacturing Inc. will divert certain logistics business to Ryder System Inc., resulting in layoffs at its Kenosha facility.

The move will impact 41 employees who work at cross-dock operations that report to or are based out of the Kenosha distribution center. The company noted the action will not close the facility but will eliminate a specific line of business.

Affected employees are scheduled to be permanently laid off on April 10, 2026. The WARN notice states that no bumping rights exist and that the affected workers are not represented by a union.
This is the sixth WARN-related layoff announced in Wisconsin so far in January 2026.
