Based on ground reports, 1 to as much as 3″ of fluffy snow came down in the heart of the area last night and early Friday. Road conditions will continue to improve with above freezing temperatures, plus a little sunshine this afternoon.
Breezy winds kick in from the north Friday afternoon that could gust around 30 miles per hour. Temperatures will be the warmest around 9am to noon, in the lower to middle 30s, then will begin to fall into the 20s this afternoon with that increasing north breeze.
Tonight, mostly clear skies and temperatures dropping to either side of zero degrees. Winds will lighten up through the night.
Mostly sunny on Saturday with light winds, but it’s going to be much chiller with a high of 18 degrees. Snow showers are possible late Saturday night, mainly after 9pm and before sunrise on Sunday. Snow accumulations will be within a range of a dusting to 1.5″, depending on the location of a warm front. We’ll keep you updated as we get closer.
Sunday will show us mostly cloudy skies as warmer air returns! Highs will be in the upper 20s to around 30 degrees again. Stray flurries are possible, but not likely everywhere.
