RANDALL, Wis. (WFRV) – A 50-year-old man in Wisconsin was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning.
According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was reported around 6:46 a.m. at State Line Road and County Highway HM in Randall.
Ashwaubenon police seek public help in fatal crash investigation
Officials arriving at the scene found the reported vehicle, a black GMC SUV, 50 yards south of the road, resting on a piece of land. Deputies and rescue crews found the driver, 50-year-old Jose Gonzalez of Twin Lakes, unconscious and not breathing.
Rescue personnel attempted life-saving measures immediately after evacuating him from the vehicle; however, Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation details indicate that Gonzalez was traveling southbound and left the road before resting along the berm. The cause of the crash is unconfirmed, but investigators say it’s believed to be from a medical emergency.
