CEDAR FALLS, Wis. (WFRV) – On Sunday, Bucks guard AJ Green became the first North Iowa men’s basketball player to have his jersey retired. Although Green’s jersey is in the rafters, the no. 4 can still be worn by players on the team.
Green played at UNI from 2018-2022 and won conference player of the year his junior season prior to entering the NBA draft. He averaged nearly 18 points per game over four seasons, and started all 99 games that he suited up for the Panthers.
