The Latest from Storm Team 5…
A weak upper level system is bringing some precipitation to the area primarily for those north and west of the valley. As we cool down, those in central Wisconsin may see some wet snow flakes mix in. Overall snow and rain amounts look low. Lows tonight will fall into the upper 20s and low 30s.
Fairly nice day tomorrow under a mix of sunshine and clouds. Higsh will top out in the upper 30s and low to mid 40s.
Another round of rain arrives Thursday night and we will see a change over to a snowy mix during the morning of Friday. How quickly that change over happens is still uncertain, as a group of models has the bulk of the snow out into central WI where as another group of models has the bulk of the snow more east into our area.
As this low peels away, it will turn breezy. Highs will hit the mid to upper 30s then stay steady or slightly cool throughout the day.
The weekend looks cloudy, breezy and cooler topping out in the low to mid 30s. We can not rule out a few flurries in the clouds this weekend as well.
