OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – An Oshkosh brewery debuted a brand new beer on Tuesday, celebrating the fishing culture in northeast Wisconsin.

The Fox River Brewing Company and owner Jay Supple, along with Coot’s Lures, the inspiration for ‘Coot’s Light,’ unveiled the new beer at the brewery.

“Anytime we collaborate with somebody local like Coot’s, to see the turnout is a pretty cool thing,” Supple said.
Coot’s Lures is a locally owned fishing company based out of Oshkosh.
The beers go on public sale starting Wednesday, February 25, as they’re complete with the phrase ‘let’s go fishing’ and a duck reeling in a fish.
