The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
An Alberta Clipper will be responsible for a change in the weather Tuesday, bringing blustery winds gusting around 30 miles per hour, along with a brief line of snow showers. Most will only see snow for about an hour or two, but it will be enough to bring slippery conditions for many spots this afternoon. The window to get snow will primarily stay in between the hours of 11am and 4pm.
SNOW ACCUMULATION: The anticipated snowfall for Green Bay and communities to the south will be one inch or less. Temperatures will also be a factor in this area as above freezing highs make the snow melt or turn a little slushy, thus limiting accumulations and impact. Over the north where it is cooler, this is where an inch or two will come down and make a bigger impact on the roads late morning and afternoon, possibly some three inch totals far to the north.
A WINTER WEATHER ADIVSORY has been issued for Door, Menominee (MI), northern Marinette, Forest and Florence counties for slippery travel due to snow covered roads, plus reduced visibility from gusty winds and falling snow.
