MISHICOT, Wis. (WFRV) – Thirsty Joe’s Bar is all about giving back to its customers and the local community.
That’s why they are hosting another Battle of the Bartenders on Saturday night, raising money for two local groups.

Manitowoc County Miracle Splash and the Lakeshore Humane Society are this year’s recipients, as Josh and Matt are set to get behind the bar and already have some friendly banter.
Knowing that an event like this can bring the community together for a good cause:
“Very special, and around the Mishicot area and Manitowoc, it’s really good support from everybody around,” said Josh Schroder, who will be pouring for Miracle Splash. “From the last time when I parked in here, a lot of them all raised a lot of money for a special cause.”
For two of the owners, Kevin Sand and Kevin Shedloski, the point of this is to give back.
Becoming a welcoming place in the community, they hope everyone who attends this year’s event sees the mission this Lakeshore bar is after.

“Seeing everybody come in here having a good time, supporting the causes and just having a good time getting home safe at the end of the night. It’s all about a good time and raising money for the right causes and helping out people and animals and communities. So we’re all about supporting everybody,” said Shedloski.
Battle of the Bartenders at Thirsty Joe’s Bar takes place Saturday, March 7, at 7 p.m. Live music by Nettle Hill begins at 7 p.m., and all who attend are asked to have a good time.
