OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – The 32-year-old Oshkosh man who is accused of shooting and killing his boyfriend has entered a not guilty plea.
On Thursday, March 5, Willie C. Rollins appeared via video for an arraignment hearing, where he entered a not guilty plea to a charge of 1st-degree intentional homicide.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by Local 5, Willie Rollins walked into the lobby of the Oshkosh Police Department around 1:30 p.m. on January 5 holding a firearm and a magazine clip in his hands. Rollins’ hands were reportedly outstretched from his body.

Rollins then placed the gun and magazine at the front desk and allegedly told an officer, “I just killed my boyfriend, and he’s in the basement.”
Rollins would later tell investigators that he thought he was being “human trafficked and financially abused.” Rollins reportedly told investigators that he shot his boyfriend after he and the victim had “recently” broken up.
On the Monday of the alleged killing, the two were reportedly fighting over the internet/Wi-Fi bills. Rollins explained to investigators that the internet argument upset him so much because the bill was his “sense of security of being able to remain in [his] home.”
Rollins’ bond will continue, and his next court date is a plea/sentencing hearing on June 8.
