(WFRV) — It was a packed night of high school hoops as the WIAA boys regional semi-finals rolled on here in Northeast Wisconsin.
In Division 1, Appleton North handled Hortonville, and Oshkosh North went on the road and beat Bay Port.
In Division 2, Ashwaubenon, as the 9-seed, nearly pulled off the upset at top-seeded Notre Dame Academy.
In Division 3, Little Chute just barely escaped with a win over Winneconne, after Wolves’ freshman Drew Lenz missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer, and Xavier took care of Kiel handily.
