STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in Stevens Point will now be wearing new badges in honor of the United States 250th birthday.
10 Fox Valley teachers honored for excellence in education
According to a post on social media from the Stevens Point Police Department, these new badges celebrating America’s newest milestone were purchased and made by one of the SPPD’s very own, Officer Larsen Biadasz.
Officers throughout the department received the newly designed badgers and were able to customize them with their names and ranks.
We are happy to recognize officer’s ideas and creativity, and how they can improve the PD. Thank you to Ofc. Biadasz for the idea showing the importance of the milestone for the US, and for the new unique badge that we now wear.
