(WFRV) – A Minnesota 37-year-old is accused of traveling across state lines, reportedly to the Rhinelander area, to engage in sexual conduct with a minor.
According to a release from the Western District of Wisconsin’s U.S. Attorney’s Office, Creighton Mithaugen of Faribault allegedly traveled to engage in illicit sexual actions with a minor on February 13.

Mithaugen was indicted following an investigation by multiple agencies, including the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and the Rhinelander Police Department.
Mithaugen faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
