(WFRV) – Authorities say the missing 58-year-old Wisconsin woman who was last seen in Minnesota has now been found safe.
58-year-old Kimberly Schmidt had left her City of Delavan residence just over a week ago, on Saturday, March 7. That same day, she was said to have traveled through Litchfield, Minnesota, and then was no longer heard from or seen.

Police say Schmidt had family in Montana and also had former ties to Minnesota, as well as current ties in Illinois. She was also said to not be taking her required medicine at the time of her disappearance and could have been experiencing a medical crisis.
As of 10:49 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, Schmidt has been found and is safe. The statewide missing endangered person alert is now canceled.
