BLUE MOUNDS, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities responded Sunday to a protest involving approximately 50 to 60 people on private property in Dane County.
According to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at Ridglan Farms in Blue Mounds, where protesters were reportedly trespassing.

Deputies worked to manage the situation, and several individuals were taken into custody. Officials said interactions with the group were mostly peaceful and there is no ongoing danger to the public.

Authorities confirmed that animals were removed from the property during the protest but have since been recovered. No animals were harmed.
The incident remains under investigation.
