(WFRV) – A Ripon was convicted on multiple charges related to a June attack and now faces up to 105 years in prison.
Fond du Lac District Attorney Eric Toney announced that Hayden Daffinson pled guilty to charges of attempted homicide, sexual assault and mayhem.

The charges stem from an incident back in June 2025. Daffinson was accused of attacking a woman with an axe.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on June 29 at 10 a.m.
Toney said, “Violence against women has no place in our society and we will stand with survivors to fight for justice and protect women in our communities..
Daffinson faces up to 105 years of initial confinement and 35 years of extended supervision. The other charges were dismissed but read-in.
