LAC LA BELLE, Wis. (WFRV) – On Wednesday morning, a 10-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle crash in southeastern Wisconsin.
Officers with the Village of Lac La Belle Police Department stated that first responders were called to a two-vehicle crash at STH 67 and McMahon Road around 7 a.m. on March 25.

It was determined that, based on a preliminary investigation, a northbound vehicle on STH 67 allegedly hit another northbound vehicle while it was waiting to turn west onto McMahon Road.
The vehicle that was hit was reportedly driven by a 16-year-old. The vehicle had a front seat passenger and a 10-year-old boy in the back seat. The other vehicle was driven by a 34-year-old man.
Due to injuries suffered in the crash, the 10-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers and the other passenger were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

The Lac La Belle PD was assisted at the scene by the Wisconsin State Patrol, Western Lakes Fire District, and the City of Oconomowoc Police Department.
All involved parties are reportedly cooperating with the investigation, which is ongoing.
