Update: The woman has been identified as Jacqueline Ratelle of Waukesha, according to an updated release.
FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – A 30-year-old woman from southeastern Wisconsin was pronounced dead at the scene of a rollover crash in Fond du Lac County on Wednesday night.
Deputies with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office stated that they got a 911 call from a driver just after 11:50 p.m. on April 1, reporting a rollover crash at the intersection of CTH W and CTH BB in Ashford.
First responders got to the scene, where a 30-year-old woman from Waukesha was pronounced dead.
Train strikes pedestrian in De Pere, investigation underway
Based on a preliminary investigation, deputies reported that the woman’s pick-up truck was northbound on County Highway BB when she failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the road, went down an embankment, hit a culvert, and overturned onto County Highway W.
The woman was the only one inside the truck.
The crash remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
