(WFRV) – One of Wisconsin’s top high school football stars is staying home. Notre Dame Academy junior Kingston Allen has announced his commitment to the Badgers.
The 2027 recruit is coming off a historic junior season, rushing for 3,436 yards, 57 touchdowns, and was named the Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year – the first in school history. Allen shattered the state’s single-season rushing record and elevated his play in the postseason, totaling 21 touchdowns across five playoff games.
Allen bolsters an already loaded 2027 class for Wisconsin. According to 247Sports, the Badgers are on track for a top-10 class, featuring three four-star recruits, which includes Allen, and five three-stars. Wisconsin has also secured 8 of the state’s top 10 prospects.
Head coach Luke Fickell is 17-21 through his first four seasons in Madison. Allen will finish his high school career this fall, looking to lead Notre Dame Academy to a state title after finishing runner-up in November.
