(WFRV) – Another Brown County OWI Task Force deployment has come and gone, with this most recent deployment resulting in over 40 stops, more than 10 OWI citations, and 3 total arrests.
Wisconsin State Patrol: Protect roadside workers while driving past crashes
According to the Green Bay Police Department, the latest deployment of the Brown County OWI Task Force occurred on Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, with the full results as follows:
- Total Stops: 43
- OWI Citations: 11
- Other Citations: 47
- Other Warnings: 44
- Drug Arrests: 1
- Warrant Arrests: 2
Included in the ‘total stops,’ ‘other citations,’ and ‘other warnings’ categories were offenses such as open intoxicants and violations for speeding, registration, and faulty equipment.
The next Brown County OWI Task Force deployment is scheduled for Friday, April 10, and Saturday, April 11.
