The Latest from Storm Team 5…
A weak system passing by tonight will increase our cloud coverage around sunset and bring a chance for a few light rain showers after 9-10pm. A few snowflakes are possible up north as well. Rain amounts will be minimal, on the order of a few hundreths to at most a tenth. Rain will exit shortly after midnight. Lows tonight will fall into the low and mid 30s.
Plan on some clouds for the morning, but the sunshine will emerge for the afternoon. Highs will be right around our seasonal normal in the upper 40s and low to mid 50s.
The opposite will happen on Saturday. We will start sunny and end with clouds. Highs will be a touch warmer into the mid 50s for the afternoon. The first of many rain chances arrives Saturday evening and night.
Periods of rain showers and even some rumbles of thunder is expected for Sunday. Highs will be much warmer topping out around 70 degrees.
For the most part, Monday looks dry, but we are keeping an eye out for showers and storms arriving Monday evening. These could be strong so something to monitor throughout the weekend.
More showers and storms are possible Tuesday and Wednesday. An additonal 1-2.5″ of rain is in the forecast from Saturday evening through Wednesday night.
